About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer — AI-Augmented Product Engineering to join our product engineering team.

You will help build, improve, and maintain Andal’s core HCM products across backend, frontend, and mobile systems.

This role is not only about writing code. You will be expected to use modern AI-assisted development workflows responsibly: exploring codebases faster, generating implementation options, improving tests, debugging issues, documenting decisions, and validating AI-generated output with strong engineering judgment.

You will work on real enterprise systems where reliability, correctness, security, maintainability, and product understanding matter.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain software features using technologies such as C#, Angular, Flutter, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Debezium.

- Use AI coding tools and engineering agents responsibly to accelerate development, refactoring, debugging, test creation, and documentation.

- Validate AI-generated code through reasoning, code review, automated tests, manual verification, and production-aware judgment.

- Translate product requirements into clear technical solutions with attention to business rules, edge cases, and user impact.

- Write clean, maintainable, observable, and secure code.

- Participate in code reviews with a focus on correctness, maintainability, performance, and regression risk.

- Troubleshoot production and QA issues by analyzing logs, data flows, user scenarios, and system behavior.

- Improve internal engineering workflows through automation, documentation, reusable scripts, and better developer tooling.

- Collaborate with product, QA, support, and engineering teams to deliver reliable enterprise software.

Qualifications

- 0–3 years of software development experience.

- Strong foundation in programming, data structures, debugging, and software design.

- Experience or strong interest in one or more of the following: C#, Angular, Flutter, PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with APIs, relational databases, Git, automated testing, and basic software delivery workflows.

- Ability to use AI tools effectively while still thinking critically and independently.

- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to understand business and domain rules.

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.

- Passion for learning, improving systems, and building reliable software.
