Position: SF Pricing & Tender Mgmt Specialist

Job Description Summary

The SF Pricing &Tender Mgmt. Specialist is dedicated to providing expertise, supporting the organization’s objectives through the application of specialized knowledge and skills. This role focuses on delivering high quality results in Pricing & Tender Management expertise and contributing

to strategic initiatives.

A member of Asia Pacific’s Regional Data Quality Team, the Rate Coordinator works together with other regional Data Quality teams, regional Product teams, and local and overseas operation teams to ensure that selling rate, pricing and buying rates in the Transport Management system

are accurate.

Job Description

Tasks& Responsibilities

• Provides expert advice and support in SF pricing and tender management
• Conducts detailed analysis and offers solutions to complex problems
• Develops and implements best practices within the specialty area
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SF pricing and tender management
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Leads specialized projects or initiatives to drive innovation and improvement
• In charge of all Regional and Global bid timely and complete submission (=and>99% ratio)
• Communicate with APAC OMT, APAC Customer quotation Team and APAC Regional Pricing and tender management for any opportunities of requirements related of the bid.
• Provide timely response, effective communication and active collaboration with sales team and Hellmann overseas offices and partners for any requirements, sales leads and opportunities.
• Actively provide solution and recommendation of sales team, Sea Freight Department, Regional and Global account team and Hellmann oversea offices and agent and regards to get better rate, procurement space and optimum yield/profit.
• Responsible for maintaining Hellmann Indonesia local charges tariff on Hellmann internet (HITTS)
• Responsible for setting 1st and 2nd tier local charges pricing for Global bit/tender.
• In charge of all direct and indirect Sea Freight local procurement as well as project procurement aligned with Global Sea Freight Policy and Procedures.
• Execute the Global Sea Freight Product Strategy at Country level and escalate when necessary.
• Maintenance strong business relationship with vendors in providing cost saving and get competitive rate.
• Actively update Sea Freight Export and Import team for any awarded/won and lost customer as well as provide update rate cards and carrying filling, routing details and space allocation.
• Actively communication monthly rate, space and equipment update received from Regional Trade Line Manger to Sales Team, Sea Freight Export and Import Team all carrier contract filling and routing details.
• Manage space capacity per Country allocation by trade lane and escalate to Country Head of Sea Freight when appropriate.
• Responsible for strategies Development that are cost effective.
• Actively procure better sourcing and service among approved subcon vendors for any regular and additional service, negotiation and maintenance long term relationship with core carrier and strategic Carrier partners and subcon vendors.
• Ensure the implementation of specific project customers SOP and KPI milestones are effectively communicated to subcon vendors and core carrier and carrier partners before the customers go live and reviewed during the monthly or quarterly business review (MBR or QBR)
• Work closely with export and import team leaders (Deputy Managers) to define KPI or service level agreement of local subcon vendors.
• Ensure fulfillment and all transportation and logistics requirement with timing, speed, cost target and other SLA and monitor overall performance of carriers and escalate to Country Head of Sea Freight when appropriate.
• Actively participate in vendor meeting and assessment

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management required; master’s degree in specialized field preferred
• Languages: Proficient in national language; Advanced in English
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Good command of computers and systems
• Solid understanding of Sea freight forwarding
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Able to think analytically.
• Problem-solving skills and Quality-focused
• Comfortable communicating with people at all levels and from different cultures and backgrounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel
• Works well independently and in teams.
• Fluency in English
• Experience in Cargo wise system is a plus
