Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for both internal requirements and project-based needs, with a primary focus on engineering, construction, MEP, and operational maintenance (O&M) packages.
• Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including preparation of RFQ/RFP documents, vendor identification, technical and commercial evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
• Conduct cost analysis, bid comparisons, and commercial evaluations to ensure competitive pricing and best-value procurement outcomes.
• Drive commercial negotiations to achieve cost optimization while ensuring technical compliance, quality standards, and adherence to project schedules.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Project, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement strategies with technical specifications and business requirements.
• Review technical drawings, bills of quantities (BOQ), and engineering specifications to ensure accurate procurement scope and vendor deliverables.
• Conduct market research, supplier benchmarking, and price trend analysis to support strategic sourcing and supplier selection.
• Monitor supplier performance throughout tendering and post-award phases, including expediting deliveries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth handover to project and operations teams.
• Prepare procurement reports, purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to support long-term procurement efficiency and cost competitiveness.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal governance, procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Procurement Engineer, Procurement Specialist, or in a similar technical procurement role.
• Proven experience in procurement for engineering, construction, MEP, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, BOQs, and contract documents.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex sourcing processes, bid evaluations, commercial analysis, and contract negotiations.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contract terms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar procurement platforms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in procurement for Data Center projects is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with MEP systems, including electrical, HVAC, cooling, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS), is highly preferred.
